About Lewis & Clark Theatre Company
The Lewis and Clark Theater Company (LCTC), located in Yankton, South Dakota, has a long tradition of serving the arts community in the Yankton area.
In addition to our regular season shows, we are also in the process of adding more special events in the future. These will range from bands, individual singer/songwriters, speakers and artists. LCTC is also working to find a way to portray the entire past of the Dakota Theatre by adding movies back to the line up. LCTC is based in the historic Dakota Theatre in downtown Yankton.
We are proud to say that LCTC owns and operates The Dakota Theatre. The Dakota Theatre, which was built in 1902, has been home to arts opportunities in the community since the day it opened. The more than 550-seat facility includes a large stage, dressing rooms and limited storage facilities. More on the history of the theatre to be added soon!
We are a community theatre that is open to all. We are always looking to add to our family: this includes actors, directors, choreographers, musicians, tech crew (light and/or sound), prop managers, stage managers, and more. We have opportunities to help with marketing, advertising, finding sponsors for shows, etc.
There is something for everyone!
